Shakespeare Ending?

So MDK and Annabelle Wallis have both been sited on set this season. This apparently is similar to Shakespeare's 'Henry VIII' play at the end with his past wives?
I'm familiar with some of the acts, but what is the Shakespeare ending being mentioned in "Extra" thread?

When Mal mentions that the ending is Shakespearian, I didn't get the impression he meant literally or that it was his Henry VIII' th play. I am thinking more along the lines of the darkness of Macbeth.

..and Neta, Anne of Cleves outlives Henry and Joss will be in Season 4. As for Natalie, I haven't heard anything but I am betting that if MDK and Annabelle appear ...that she will too!

Great I think all of us would love ALL the six wives to be in a scene together!

well I am thinking it will be more along the lines of the dead wives appearing to Henry as he lays dying like the witches in Macbeth. Remember when More died and he couldn't sleep and he saw him standing at the window and then he disappeared?

I haven't seen or read Macbeth but all shakepeare's works are on "My-to-read-or-watch" list.

Well that would be truly entertaining dead wives appearing like haunting spirits in the night haunting Henry's sleep and then he sees them but does he really!!! Can't wait for Season 4 Do you find this valuable?

I was thinking of the scene in which Macbeth, upon seeing Banquo's ghost at the feast, is scared witless...

I would LOVE to see Henry begin to lose it (like Macbeth did) after the ghosts of his victims begin to haunt him!

Why can't season 4 hurry up already? :-)

I love love the show to end that way, but I can't help thinking that it would the actresses (or actors) make a long way to Ireland just to shoot at most one and only episode...
Anyway, the news of MDK and AW being on the set make me hoping! I just keep my fingers crossed that each wife has her time of "spooky vengeance" towards Henry! lol!
That would be mind-blowing! The best way to end a show with so many powerful characters as the Tudors had IMO: to give them a last bow... I would actually love to see Wolsey, More and Crommy back as well but even just the wives would be awesome!
