Season 3 & Season 1-3 Box Set News For Australians!

The wait is almost over in owning The Tudors Season 3 in Australia! I was looking up the wonderful JB HI-FI! and decided to check Tudors (hoping that S3 would be out for Christmas!) and it will. You can pre-order S3 at the link below: http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/dvd/dvd-genres/tv/the-tudors-season-3-3-dvd-set/462833 I have to say that I am impressed with the cover art! Finally Mr Cavill gets to be on the cover! And so does the fantastic James Frain. Of course JRM is center with Annabelle on his arm and like she is hiding behind Cavill is Charlotte Salt! All in all I am impressed with the cover! It has the picture of JRM, Cavill and Frain and then they photoshopped Annabelle and Charlotte from other photos into it! In my opinion though it looks to be a photo of Charlotte that I for one have never seen before. Might have been an out take. You can also pre-order the Blu-Ray version on the site as well. Also for anyone that wants all the Seasons so far in one neat pack, you can buy the Tudors - The Complete Seasons 1-3 and in fact it is kind of a reasonable price. Personally, I don't think Charlotte Salt's character merits a cover spot. Do you find this valuable? |

You can also pre-order the Blu-Ray version on the site as well.Do you remember the promo pic with all main cast?? i think they shoot more than the one is here because i saw in a magazine on the web a picture with all the cast but they look different, especially Mary,Henry and Ursula. i think would be better to add Mary in Ursula's place. Do you find this valuable? |

Well, I have to say I'm not a huge fan of this kind of PhotoShop montage... I mean I can handle the program a bit and I'm sure I could easily do this...Too bad they actually don't shoot a picture for DVD covers at the same time they shoot promo pictures... S2's cover last year was awful as well IMO! PS: I'm just thinking, that would be a nice contest idea: "make your own S3 DVD cover!" ^^ Do you find this valuable? |

Since you guys have it over the ditch pretty soon I hope it come's to NZ like a week after you guys. Hmmm i'm, a bit iffy on the cover it does look ok (Jane's hand is freaking me out though).Maybe not what the last two seasons looked liked (those covers were fairly similar) I would've chosen the background that has the full cast in it instead. Or would of scrapped it and use the promo pic of Jane Mary and Henry, but photoshop Thomas Cromwell and AoC in it. Do you find this valuable? |
