Brandon vs. Wolsey

*Please note that I am new to the Tudors wiki, so please be kind*I noticed that on both Charles Brandon's and Cardinal Wolsey's wikipages that that were cited as each other's enemy. It's been ages since I have seen Season 1, so would someone care to tell me why this was the case? The only plausible thing that I could think of is the fact that both men had such a powerful hold over Henry VIII and were able to influence him the way that they did. Then again, could what had happened between Brandon and Mary Tudor (or Margaret as she is known in the series) have caused a rift between the two? Do you find this valuable? |

I'll be kind, don't worry, but in Season 1, which you claim you haven't seen for ages... Charles Brandon, the Duke of Norfolk and Thomas Boleyn all make an alliance to bring Wolsey down. This is why he is known as Wolsey's enemy, although he only did it to get back in the King's good graces, having married his sister without permission!
