He definitely will be haunted by images from his past; especially, Anne Boleyn, Thomas More, Cardinal Wolsey, and Thomas Cromwell.

I hope that Queen Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Thomas More, and Wolsey come back as ghosts and haunt King Henry to his grave.in the 4th season. It would definitely be a great season if the characters came back.

I hope that they bring back afew of the characters, maybe to have a dream scene.?! Where he see's himself as a true monster, ugly makeup and all, with all the dead famous/main characters coming to bid him "welcome", and have it really impact the character. You know what they say, some see the dead before they join them.

"From the Tudors Season 4 Prediction Page:Yes i think on his deathbed his mind will begin to wander, but i think as he is dying he should be dreaming that he is on trial, and the ghosts of people whom he had executed should be given testimony on where his soul should go when he dies? I would love it if Henry was haunted by the people of his past. I don't think I would like it if they did that for the entire season, but I think for the last one or two episodes, it would be awesome! I agree, it should be on his deathbed. That's the best place for it to happen. :) Haha...think of how Mary, Elizabeth, and Edward would react if they see Henry going insane...haha! <3 Do you find this valuable? |

"From the Tudors Season 4 Prediction Page:great thread. I don't think so. I get the feeling that Michael Hirst, and JRM are bored with the Tudors. I think the people on this wiki are more talented and interested then they are. I was really disappointed with this whole Lady Mistleton business. I was unconcerned with many of the historical inaccuracies up until she arrived. I saw no point in her character as the truth of the story was plenty of story, without a fictional character. Wait, Maybe I just didn't like her. She wasn't that pretty or sexy. Can't imagine why Bryan liked her either. Flat chested. I guess everyone was then though before tit jobs. Anyway, Henry is clearly crazy, and has increased his thirst for blood and cruelty. He never loved anyone. Possibly KOA, but his ego was so huge, and his dick always his main concern in his life. If he had regrets, they should have surfaced long before now. Of course it would be FANTASTIC if they wrote it that way. But would MDK and ND make some cameo reappearances? I think not. That would really be so great though. Certainly killing that poor teenager Kitty doesn't show him having any regrets. He knew she was promiscuous, that's why he liked her. I'm probably wrong. I definitely think that bringing in Will Somers was so important. He was Henry's only real friend, as he gave him the go ahead to tell the truth, as he was lonely. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. "Yes yes yes I so hope you're right"Greetings All, "Flashbacks". Definitely! They could really round out this whole drama by re-showing scenes from different episodes, and, using material that was filmed but cut from the series. I just don't understand why they are cutting The Tudors so short! It's like an incomplete sentence!!! They have all the material, so why not make each wife 10 eps.??! Man, we're getting robbed here Ladies!! 'NoSir, I don't like it!' LOLOL. But, what can we do? If the writers and actors are bored as TC mentions, then we're screwed. Thank you so much Elizabethtudorrose. I couldn't agree more. I keep tring to watch season 3 over, and I just don't like it as much. Too short. I feel cheated. I also agree that they have so many scenes they could use as flashbacks that were cut. They could start at king Arthur's death, and show the romance he did have with KOA. Hell, they could also develop this until Henry dies and the monarchies of Edward, Mary and Elizabeth. Sooo many possibilties to bring in fresh blod, big nanes and really make this a blockbuster. Yes 12 per season and 6 seasons is what I want.

You'd think w/all the positive feedback, including all the folks on this wiki, would show them that this series is extremely popular and strive for more than 4 seasons and not do everything so hastily. But I can see the flip side, they may not want to bore the audience w/too much fact. But let's face it, Henry VIII is a fascinating subject and there can never be enough exposure on him and his marital exploits. I really thought each wife would get 10 eps, even if there isn't a lot of info about Jane Seymour, she could have been around a lot longer than she was. (I haven't seen all of #3 yet, but I do know that she's gone pretty quickly) Same w/AOC. I take it they do a dual wife for #3 as well as #4? ie, Jane and AOC for #3? I'm not exactly sure what's going on for #3 or #4, but by some of the statements, it appears that 2 wives are in each of the last 2 seasons. Yeah, huge ripoff! BTW, call me ETR, it's easier to write! Now, we need to gang up on the BBC and see if they'll remake Six Wives and Eliz R. and add some spice from The Tudors to keep it sexy! Wouldn't it be neat to see Katherine handling the Battle of Flodden while Henry diddles in France! LOL! Peace, ETR 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Love your post. I'm with you, I feel cheated, brutilized. 8 episodes, and so much meat here so they just rushed through. Anna of Cleves becomes one of the wealthiest women in England. She inherits Hever, and a lot of Anne's holdings.Kitty was not introduced too quickly, and I did not care for the character they cast. Will Somers need to be major, as Henry is off his rocker now. He has killed everyone close to him, but Brandon and Wiil Somers. He must be terribly lonely ,seething with infection, and I can't believe with all his sexual trysts, he doesn't have syphilis, How ironic they call it the "French Disease," as you know how Henry felt about Francois! She inherits Hever, and a lot of Anne's holdings.Hi TC, I'm not sure if Henry had anything to do w/naming syphillis as the 'french disease', I think it had already been named that by his ancestors. The French Pox, I believe was the term they used. And Francois had it badly. But Henry never did, tho some still believe he did. Actually, Henry (in FACTUAL history) was very discreet sexually and had no where near the number of mistresses as this show portrays him to have. By the time he married Jane, he was already suffering from ED as he was well into his 40's (viagra, anyone?LOLOL!!) Which brings a question to my mind. I wonder if KH took Culpepper as a lover so she could get pregnant? Norfolk undoubtedly grilled her on all her marriage aspects and when he found out the king couldn't 'perform', suggested to the little air-head that she take a lover to make her position safer. Not that she needed to, Henry adored her. She didn't need to breed. It makes me wonder how much of her adultery was her idea. She didn't have much wit, so I conclude that it was in fact Norfolk who urged her to take a lover. It's too bad that she didn't turn the tables on him and tell the king it was all Norfolk's idea that she take a lover. Peace, ETR Do you find this valuable? |

18. Norfolk's duplicity
Jul 27 2009, 10:04 PM EDT
THAT IS A BRILLIANT HYPOTHESIS! Of course, she must have known if Henry had a bit of ED. Don't all 50 year old men, and in those days fifty was the new 70! Poor kid. That Norfolk was a real devil. However, I don't think Kitty needed much urging to take a lover, with his limp dick, stinking puss leg, and reputation of cruelty. She was only a child of what 17, or 18. I can't believe she could even eat dinner with him. No deodorant, toothpaste, penicillin or Viagra back them. Ugh. He should have canonized her, not murdered her. What sleaze bags all these men were, no wonder we have a crush on Thomas More!

HAAA-HA-HAAAAA!! Seriously tho, have you ever wondered why Anne is supposed to have said that Henry had 'neither the skill nor the virility to satisfy a woman'? History fact: during George Boleyn's trial he was handed a paper to read, no one dared ask the question out loud. It asked whether Henry was in fact impotent, and all George had to answer was yes or no, but he read the paper out loud, denied the accusation, and was axed. Seems Henry's ED was in question while Anne was still Queen. And men can be as young as 30 when they get ED. I don't know about Thos. Moore...I have a bit of anger towards him. The fact that he let his family fall into penury because he wouldn't take the Oath, even after all his family did, shows me a very shallow man. How could he let his family fall victim to Henry? Just because he wanted martyrdom didn't mean he had to drag his entire family down with him! A REAL man would have taken the Oath and ensured that his family was taken care of. I think we can pose the same question towards him as many have done on the Katherine thread. IMO the man was a bastard to let his family become impoverished and lose everything they had over a technicality. continued.... Do you find this valuable? |
