From the Tudors Season 4 Prediction Page:

What new spin will Hirst take on Charles Brandon's death, will he be blamed for the matching up of Henry and Kathryn and be imprisoned in the tower, or will he die of natural causes? Submitted by Reggie19 and CicaB

Charles Brandon's children died of the sweating sickness. Brandon, himself, was 61 years old when he died. His death was probably because of old age. My guess would be, the show will kill him off in some historically inaccurate way because the man who is playing Brandon now is far too young compared to his real life counterpart to simply die of old age. They will probably make him commit suicide, die of the sweating sickness or killed given that they seem to be hinting at his character going slightly insane and being involved in the match up between Henry and Catherine Howard. Looks like there is a story line for his ultimate death being worked in there. Do you find this valuable?

Brandon died in August 1545, about 18 months before Henry so it's a pretty good guess that they're gonna kill him this season :( but you never know, they might have him outlive Henry in the show as someone who could look back on the whole reign seeing as Brandon's pretty much the only character left that's been there since the beginning

Brandon died before Henry. Brandon died two years before Henry in 1545. Henry had a nice funeral done in Brandon's honor. Well, historically, yes Brandon would have to die. Although, this series has killed off people in the wrong time frame before so they could kill him off after Henry dies. Do you find this valuable?

How could Henry blame him for matching him up? In the show Henry sees her at the dance and asks Brandon who she is and to bring her to him. According to the show, Henry doesn't know that "the boys" brought Kitty to court to lift him from his lethargy.

I agree that Charles looks as if he were losing it a little. I'll predict that in some instance Henry will consider executing him, but before that happens, Charles will meet with an unfortunate accident, and just before dying his wife will bewail and bemoan him as he says he always loved only her. Seeing as Brandon has been merged with the Duke of Suffolk, it would make sense that he will end up in the Tower, and only being saved by the bell, so to speak. However, wasn`t it more or less eye-patch who fixed Henry up with Katherine? I mean, he found her at the Dowager Dutchess` house, and brought her to Court. All Suffolk did was give her a glance over. I would predict that Brandon will not die -- at least not before the King because who Henry will at death's bed bare his soul to some extent -- and Brandon would seem the likely one to witness that. Do you find this valuable?

As series 3 was more accurate than the previous two, I think they will stick to the truth, more or less, and have Brandon die suddenly (heart attack? stroke?) shortly before Henry. Having lost his best friend, Henry will then realise how lonely he is and look back over his life Do you find this valuable?
