I read somewhere when he found out about her infidelity, he covered his face and cried. He cried so much that the tears leaked out between his fingers. Jun 17 2009, 3:03 PM EDT I wont have any sympathy for him after all he's cheated enough times himself and we saw how much that hurt both Katherine and Anne (Jane not so much she was more accepting of it). And after all he did put Anne to death for her alleged "affairs" when she remained faithful to him throughout their marriage so Henry deserves to know what it feels like to be really cheated on. Jun 17 2009, 6:58 PM EDT Nope, not a chance, as sharon156 said, he's done it enough times, and it broke Katherine's and Anne's hearts to watch him do it, so much so that Anne was rumored to have miscarried after seeing him with Jane on his lap, and i wouldn't be surprised if Katherine developed cancer of the heart as a result of all the stress she endured due to his affairs, as well as other matters! Yes, i will more than likely laugh, but will immediately stop after witnessing what becomes of Kathryn! Post reply Do you find this valuable?

I also think that its a bit harsh to say that he didn't hurt Jane with his affair. She may have accepted it but you could tell she was hurting inside. She just knew her duty and pretended as if it meant nothing, especially since she was pregnant. She put all her focus on to that instead. He broke so many women's hearts that i have lost all sympathy for him now. The only person i will feel sorry for is Katherine, coz then we all know that her time is up! JRM has an incredible ability to make people feel what he's feeling -- that rare connection only some actors can achieve. Jun 18 2009, 12:31 PM EDT \| Post edited: Jun 18 2009, 12:32 PM EDT I am looking forward to seeing how JRM handles this because according to Chapuys who had seen Henry's reactions to the demises of his 3 previous wives (Katherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn and Jane Seymour), Katherine Howard hit him the hardest. JRM pulled out the stops on that scene where he begged Jane not to leave him. In reality he wasn't at her bedside and had even planned to move to a different residence the next day but put it off. With Katherine Howard, the ambassadors said he showed her more physical attention and he spent more on her than any of his preceeding wives...he was completely infatuated with the fun-loving Kitty. He felt totally betrayed and raged ..even pulling out a dagger and saying he would kill her himself. Mind you, as Starkey says....she was the first wife who abandoned him (emotionally) instead of the other way around and he didn't have a new love in the wings to take her place. I can't say I would feel sorry for the real Henry but I wonder if JRM will pull at the ole heart strings like he did when Jane died? Post reply 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Finally gets a taste of his own medicine shame though is that none of the wives could have really shown their true feelings and put real action behind them like he did with Anne & Kitty!! I am also truly and eagerly waiting to see how JRM brings his reaction to life if it even compares to his falling apart over Katherine's passing,Anne's Betrayal,or the best of them Jane's Death all he showed a true emotional edge!!! Poor Katherine, Anne and Jane, he didn't deserve any of their love. Its pure karma. But i will feel more sorry for Kitty. I can just see it happening while I am watching that episode. I have a tendancy to laugh at things in these kind of shows that aren't really supposed to be funny. Think of all the tears that KOA, Anne and Jane all cried and all the many more tears that were swallowed back because they were expected to endure it with grace.
