Autographed picture.

I was able to purchase a bona-fide autograph of Johnathan Rhys Meyres, James Frain from Ebay. It came with papers of authenticity. I paid many crowns for this item. It is an 8 X 10 color glossy picture that I have never seen before from the Tudors....It is, uh, quite, the thing. (Okay, it's gorgeous.) Friday, my husband and I took it to a professional framing place. It will be double matted, and the frame is absolutely incredible; a kind of brushed silver-gold with an old look to it. Curley-cues cover all sides. It will also have non-reflective UV glass on it.When I get it, I will scan it in so everyone can see it. Henry Cavill is in the photograph, but he did not sign it. Do you find this valuable?

I have an autographed pic of James, too (brag-idy-brag-brag :)) When a few of the ladies from the James Frain Yahoo fan group went to see James on stage in NYC, they took a bunch of copies of a pic another Frain fan had taken after seeing James outside the theatre. Since he was so pleased that we all donated some money to an AIDS foundation, he decided to reward us and signed all the copies of the pic so we could all have a genuine autograph picture of him. I think he would have signed them no matter what. He's always so gracious to fans. A lovel;y sweet man, he is. I can't wait to see the framed pic! BTW, James' sig is literally illegable (sp?). If I didn't know it was him I'd never be able to read the name. He signed my pic with a BIG 'J' & squiggle-squiggle followed by a BIG 'F" & squiggle-squiggle. LOL Not nearly as fancy as his Cromwell penmenship :) Do you find this valuable? |

Dearest Ladies and Gentlemen at court,I hope no one thought I was bragging when I posted this. (I'm not feeling very secure tonight.) I was just so "tickled"...what a curious word. And had to indulge the king on many levels for the crowns to purchase the picture. I told the king that Hans Holbein had done the picture, but the king thought that it was witchcraft. Alas, shall Sir Thomas burn me at the stake instead of dancing with me? Sincerely, LadyLil at court but mayhaps for not longer Do you find this valuable? |

I WAS bragging, though. LOL I don't get a chance to do so very often, so when the opportunity presents itself...well, I brag away.
