JRM denies claims he went into rehab

Hollyscoop reports:

Contrary to what was being reported,Jonathan Rhys Meyers denies having checked into rehab earlier this year.

In February, reports swirled that the Tudors star had checked into a facility in England. The buzz began after he had missed several awards ceremonies and TV appearances. But when Meyers showed up at the Soloist premiere in LA last week, he slammed the rumors.

He said, "I just felt I needed time off and I didn't need to go to awards ceremonies. You can get slightly waylaid as an actor doing that sort of thing and I'm never that comfortable at them anyway."

He did admit to seeing a counselor in England, but that was the extent of it. Meyers said, "I live an incredibly low-key life. I think people would like to think I'm a hell of a lot naughtier than I am actually. I am actually quite a boring guy."

As for what’s really occupying Jonathan’s time at the moment, he says, "I spent the last week and a half playing bloody golf. Me, Jonathan Rhys Meyers! If anyone saw me in those stupid golf clothes on the golf course, there would have been a different story written!"

PS. he has also recently been seen with his Reena Hammer so the reports of them splitting also seem to be inaccurate. 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

why has he looked so wrecked with the puffy eyes and blowsy face, i wonder. It's not just makeup, I don't think. Do you find this valuable?

We should give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he looked like that because he is overworked. My friends husband works for a police department and sometimes he works three days with no sleep and his eyes are puffy, and this man never drinks.So right now I believe him. Why would he lie. Do you find this valuable?

I did see a couple of pics last year but hey he was out at a party and people do have a few at those things. He has said that he can't drink because he's like bambi on ice when hes had a couple. Do you find this valuable?

My guess is the fact that he did indeed look so wrecked is what fueled the rehab rumor. He might have been over worked, he may have been sick, or perhaps he just hadn't been taking very good care of himself when those pics came out last spring. The ones that were recently posted with him playing basketball, he actually looked like he's gained a fair amount of weight since S.3 of the Tudors filmed. Do you find this valuable?

Aw shucks hes back with HER but he has looked a bit lonely and distant...but what about the 2 women he went home with at the last party...what about the ring? I couldnt see it well??? Do you find this valuable?

aw c'mon Fran, he and Reena are cute together and he looks happier than he has in the last year. The ring is tiny but its there, check the album in the photo gallery because the pics are bigger. She bought him a ring a while ago which he was wearing on his left hand too. Do you find this valuable?

I know I said it. He has been looking sad. They look ok but they still dont match that well.
I wonder what happen that they havent been together for so long though...I have to look at the pics for the ring. Do you find this valuable?

We are trying to use slide shows and photo galleries now more than on a single page because they take too long to load for a lot of computers plus you have to scroll down for ages to get the bottom. Do you find this valuable?

I guess he is on the market after all....Ok Ladies!!! He looks so scrumptious in that leather jacket....what a luck biotch they even went to Paris!! I didnt know that no mention on his fan page either!
