Fourth Season Will Be The Last
Apr 14 2009, 8:52 AM EDT
I just found this article on the internet and it says that The Tudors will be filmed in Ireland for a fourth and final series. I am glad that they will do all the wives but I am upset that they won't go into Edward and Mary's reign. Maybe it is so they don't have to figure what to do with Lady Jane Grey. At least it will have ten episodes. Anway I have the link for the article belowhttp://www.rte.ie/arts/2009/0414/thetudors.html (Does anyone find it funny that they are still using photos from Season 1 promotional shoots. Not that I mind but it is funny) Do you find this valuable? |

From the Washington Post, I'm glad the fourth season is going to be in 10 episodes rather than just 8! :Final season set for "The Tudors" LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Next year, Showtime's "The Tudors" will run out of wives. The network has renewed the historical melodrama starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers for a fourth and final season. The pickup consists of 10 episodes that Showtime says will dramatize King Henry VIII's last two tumultuous marriages, to Catherine Howard and Catherine Parr. Do you find this valuable? |

The third season of "Tudors" recently debuted to steady, strong ratings. Given the show's historical nature, the series was never seen as a program that could run indefinitely. The question was only whether "Tudors" would receive healthy enough numbers to finish at its own pace.http://ca.reuters.com/article/entertainmentNews/idCATRE53D0KQ20090414 I think what this article piece says is interesting. I guess they think once H8 is out of the picture people may lose interest. Of course a lot more would like it carried through. Do you find this valuable? |
