A nice interview from the man, giving a few tidbits away of what to come.

That is going to be one hot coguple! JF and Kate B., I wonder if we will finally get a smooch? I am interested in seeing what the movie Everything's Fine is about. (If you don't understand, read the article.) Do you find this valuable?

Yes, it's time for JF to do some sex scenes now, JRM exhausted himself in the first 2 seasons.

Hehehe, maybe not as Cromwell, though...

But a smooch between him and Kate Beckinsale would be luvverly! Aquasplash, you should check him out in something like Where the Heart Is (the film, not the TV show). The film's a bit daft, but James is too adorable. Very different to Cromwell.

Yep, Forney (James' character in the film "Where the Heart Is") is about as un-Cromwell as you can get. Don't get me wrong, I actually have always liked the real Crom, but he could be ruthless, to say the least. Forney is sweetness and love personifed.,

Thanks so very much for this article. Loads of great info in it, especially for the Frain fan. Can't wait to see him as Kate Beckinsale's boyfriend. And, the revelations about Cromwell in the later part of this season are quite intriguing. I'm so excited :)

As much as I would like a hanky panky sesion with James (on screen of course,), I know that he is head over heals for his honey, and I have a fealing that there is only so far he will go. (Also, I am surprised that JRM has already wore out his manly phera - MOANS!) Do you find this valuable?

That was a great interview! I'm super excited to know that James has being given space to bring Cromwell to life in the 3rd season. Ahh...this is going to be sooooo gooooood! I love the quote by James "yeah he does. he loses his shit"..hahaha...hilarious!

Thanks for the tip Heroine, appreciated. I have a feeling James is a gradual grower on me - as was JRM. I liked him in one movie then by the third or fourth was head over heels! James is doing the same for me! LOL.

LOL. If I'm *really* honest, James was a kind of slow-burner for me as well. It wasn't really until that scene in the chapel at the end of Season 2 that I suddenly thought, hey this guy's really talented, and then after that I started looking at him properly and realised how yummy he was. Hehehe.

I fell for him in the movie, "Where the Heart Is". That started the quest to see all the movies, shows he has stared in. I think he is a great actor Do you find this valuable?

That's pretty close to how I fell for Cromwell/Frain. First season, I didn't think that much about him but when I saw Season 2, I definitely was watching! I can't get enough of James! <3! That was a great interview though, I've been waiting for an interivew and now it has happened! ALthough I do have to admit, I'm worried! Just from what he said.... Cromwell is going to lose his shit? He is going to lose his ice-cool?! Noo! But hey, by the sounds of it, or maybe it's just me, well get to see Gregory early on- earlier than the execution scene!

I must be seriously twisted...I kinda like the idea of Cromwell losing his cool a bit, you know, seeing beneath the icy control. I'm so excited by what James says about seeing more of Cromwell's human side...it almost sounds like Hirst has something up his sleeve for the character, from what James says about the last few eps. And we get to see Gregory! Yay! I'm just really happy that Cromwell isn't going to be totally villanised this season, that he might be a bit vulnerable and even more sympathetic than before. =D

I feel the same way.. I am so torn.. I want to see Cromwell's wall broken down! I want it! But at the same time, I'm like a mother bear, I want to protect him! Wah! I just want to jump into the TV and save him! Why must physics be right?

Screw physics! There must be a way...

I know what you mean though, Mags. I feel so sorry for JF's Cromwell, and to see him break down is going to be awful. I was a bit scared that he was going to be made the main bad guy of this season, but that interview with James really seems to suggest that we're going to see a lot more of 'the man' Cromwell, not just the ruthless politician. It'll be amazing seeing him with his son.

I have a feeling, that with his son, that thats when he'll have his breakdown... Aww Cromwell! It's going to be bittersweet for us, I think, we want everyone to see that Cromwell is human but it's going to cost him his life.. It's a shame because Cromwell is amazing, we see that, and right now no one else has, but they will and it's a shame that they didn't care for him before.. =(

I think you may be right, Maggie. It's going to be both horrible AND amazing seeing Cromwell's final scenes, because James will be incredible...but we'll be losing him :( I'm dying to know what these 'other elements' are that Hirst brings into Cromwell's character that James talked about in the interview.
