"I think you may be right, Maggie. It's going to be both horrible AND amazing seeing Cromwell's final scenes, because James will be incredible...but we'll be losing him :( I'm dying to know what these 'other elements' are that Hirst brings into Cromwell's character that James talked about in the interview."What I was thinking was Cromwell's dark side. I think we're going to see just how ruthless Cromwell is going to be.... Maybe he'll be the one convincing Henry to actually go through and have the leaders of the rebellion executed? Do you find this valuable? |

"Hmm, I wonder...because he mentions these 'other elements' in conjunction with the viewers' sympathies changing towards him, and that they're brought in towards the end of the season, as though we're going to be shown more of the 'human' Cromwell as the show progresses. I think he's going to be pretty evil at first, but kind of soften later on. Do you find this valuable? |

Do you think Mrs Crom is going to die? Also it will be sad to see everyone turn against him Richard Rich will betray him (grrr) and even Cranmer distanced himself when it was clear he was in serious trouble.

They will probably say, "Oh she died... Far away..." I just want to know everything! Do you find this valuable? |

"I don't even think they are going to bring in the Missus. They will probably say, "Oh she died... Far away..."Yeah, she's probably going to die offscreen...if we hear about her at all. I don't really get why they bothered to show her and talk about her in S2 if they weren't planning on using her in S3, but I guess we can't have everything. At least we get Gregory, and by the sounds of it, sooner than just at his father's execution. Do you find this valuable? |

Will he be the correct age, or will he be younger? I wonder, I wonder... Do you find this valuable? |

It was only after it was clear the King wasn't feeling merciful that Cranmer distanced himself from Cromwell. By then it was too late anyway. Poor Crom. Do you find this valuable? |

Only when it was completely clear that Wolsey was out of favor for good, that Cromwell distanced himself. Do you find this valuable? |

"if thats a friend who needs enemies"Given the vicious and precarious political environment of the time, I'd say that was a pretty extraordinary demonstration of friendship. Long after Wolsey had become isolated at court, Cromwell continued to work for him without pay. The show is very wrong when it shows Cromwell tearing up a letter of entreat from Wolsey. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

"Well, that statement bears very little relation to anything I've ever read about the man, so go figure, I guess."What I've read is different LadyJane, I have some admiration for the man after all he did rise from very lowly beginnings, a brutish Father and no formal education, to become a Merchant and highly thought of Lawyer, he managed to penetrate the closed ranks of Norfolk's aristocratic faction, without patronage or personal following or university education and steal the position of 'chief minister' which Norfolk thought was now his. He had a strong intellect and an enquiring mind as well as a capacity for hard work. Might I ask if you have a favourite charactor from the series and if so whom and why? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
