I've seen a few of his movies: Where the Heart is, Count of Monte Cristo. On the television I've seen him on the miniseries: Empire and I saw him on 24, I believe. But I am DYING to see: Vigo, Red Meat, and Everybody's Fine (which just finished filming). I would love to more of his work. He's a brilliant actor, and hopefully one day, he'll get the recognition, not just from his fans but from the world for his wonderful performance's!

"What movies/etc. have you seen of James? What ones do you want to see? I've seen him in Elizabeth, and he reminded me of Ambassador Chapuys when i saw him in the Tudors. I would love to see Where the Heart Is as Natalie Portman is my fave actress, and having Jimmy there would be the cherry on the cake, haha! 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

I wouldn't bother watching 'Into the Blue', he only has a little part. And frankly the movie is unbearable, Jessica Alba couldn't act her way out of a paper bag! Upside James looks good lol 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

"I really did think that was one of those movies where the advertising said it all... low budget... but i would watch it just to see James, hehehe!"I'll definitely pass on 'Into the Blue'...even James couldn't sway it for me. :P He's not in 'Hilary and Jackie' much, but makes up for his absence by being HOT and rocking a very sexy accent. I love him in 'Armadillo', this BBC thing from a while back...he's just amazing in it, and totally makes me think he needs his own series one day. 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

OMG i just discovered Lost City Raiders on that site, with Jamie Thomas King... i know this is a James Frain thread, but i had to broadcast this because of my sheer happiness, and guess what, his name is Thomas in that too, but he's not English :( But ya, i'll definitely give that a try Eternity, what part in the movie does he appear in, just to make it easier on me? 1 out of 2 found this valuable. In Julie Taymor's "Titus" (adapted from Shakespeare's "Titus Andronicus") James plays Bassianus the good son of the late emperor opposite of Saturnine played by Alan Cumming who is the bad son and becomes emperor and ruins everything for Titus played by Anthony Hopkins. JRM is in it too as Chiron, and gets his throat slit by Anthony Hopkins! Very different sort of Shakespeare adaptation, but I like it, and loaded with great actors like James and JRM!

I first saw him in Shadowlands, years ago at the cinema - just a small part but I've er 'followed' his career since then, so I've got most of his stuff except 'What Rats Won't Do' can't find that anywhere although there is a small snippet on YouTube (How did we exist without YouTube!!) Maggie try to watch Macbeth on The Estate (YouTube again) he has the lead role :-)

YouTube seems to be the only place you can find it now... :((( If I'd known, I'd have stolen it off my English teacher! Do you find this valuable? |
