The Church Under Queen Elizabeth By Frederick George Lee
Has anyone read this? I'm trying to figure out if he is the John Foxe to Elizabeth or not before I purchase it...because the going price is 25.00 USD at the least, and I was very disappointed in the last high price book I ordered, 'The Divorce of Catherine of Aragon' by James Anthony Froude. Do you find this valuable?

can you google it and see if there are any exerpts from it? Or contact a bookseller like Books A Million who have a heads up on the contents of the books, reviews, etc? Do you find this valuable?

This book is a reprint of a 19th century book. I have not read it, but I can tell you it won't be up to date with the latest scholarship, lol. But it would probably be an interesting perception of the Elizabethan era by the Victorian era.

Anytime you want to read an older book, check the link I gave you first. Lots of old books are digitized there, and it is nice to read before you decide if you want to shell out all of that money on it! 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
