Hampton Court Ghost?

If you live in the U.K. maybe you can clear this up for me - the security video of the ghost at Hampton Court that was on the news a while back (I live in New Zealand, so didn't see it, but have heard about it) - that was proven to be a hoax by caretakers, wasn't it? I saw the video on youtube and the comments are mixed.
