Discussion: My heart breaks..

"watching series 2 of the Tudors.
I loved Natalie Dormer's performance as Lady Anne she was truly amazing. I'm finding it hard to watch sometimes when Henry cheats on her. Sad i know but she is a very believable character.

"I can't agree with that. I think that Anne, like Katherine of Aragon, deserved far better than she received at Henry's hands.

I'm going to keep watching but it won't be the same without Anne. :-("

"Maybe they'll do a prequel mini-series."

"The advantage to a mini-series is that they could make it much more Katherine-centric if it was separate from the series proper; ie., they could have an episode with the young Katherine coming to England to visit Arthur, meeting Henry, etc, then the next episode devoted to her early widowhood then they could skip to the beginning of Henry VIII's reign (and MDK) for the next two to four episodes showing stuff between their marriage and the beginning of Season One."

"Anne was and is my favorite character. Natalie did an awesome job of portraying her and she is my favorite actress to play Anne. Ann is my favorite historical figure. She was ahead of her time. She was very ambitious, head strong, and independent. Not only did Henry treat her bad but her family did to. Her uncle and father used her as a pawn in order to get ahead. Elizabeth lost her mother. It's a sad story."
