Anyway, has anyone else seen episode 7? What did you think of Joss as Anne and how she looked? The only physical thing I could think of that would turn off Henry is her height.

"I think she made a very nice Anne of Cleves; Henry was used to petite women,and Anne had a healthy build. Tall,althetic. Yes,by then Henry was going into unexplained rages,and then suddenly very sentimental. He had an ideal woman,and Anne was not it. But,IMO, He really missed the boat when he didn't stay with Anne. Maybe by then,there would have been no children anyway,owing to Henry's increasingly bad health,but he would have had a Queen that the people loved. And,Anne seemed to have very good common sense. Do you find this valuable? |

He said that the wanted to completely possess her and that he hadn't even met her yet. Once again he fell in love w/love rather than the woman. When we idealize someone in our mind they can never live up to our idea of what they should be. Joss Stone did a good job, I feel, in her portrayal, accent and all.

joss stone was great and they made her look pretty but not as beautiful as the other wives. joss stone made ann as a human being not as a fantasy like they showed with the other wives. throughout episode 7 i felt totally sorry for her. she was trying to make henry like her she was very gracious. but henry wanted no part of her.

"i thought joss stone did a very fine job the german accent was pretty good i kind of hope they show the the split of henry and anne as it was . the split couldnt have been more amicable anne and henry remained very good friends, she even became a confidant a sort of gal pal of henrys which was very rare for the time hell its rare for any time !!! but anne of cleves must have been a very remarkable woman and mary tudor when she became queen was very close to anne of cleves. the proof was the funeral she gave anne she gave her a proper state funeral mary made sure she was ''buried with great pomp and magnificence'' her tomb is located in westminster abbey . so you can see how highly esteemed anne of cleves was. Because, exactly the same human character and beautiful look, have and had, also, all her Royal Descendants, – also my dear Mom, my dear Grandmother, and all the Ladies and Girls, in our Family, which are the Royal Descendants of this English Royal Family. Please, be so kind, and just, read very carefully, and cautiously, everything about her, and do not believe any illogical statements, about her. Please, just, Open your Eyes and see, that she was a very beautiful Lady. Holbein did not lie, he was a GENUINE ARTIST! And nothing was “flattered”, nothing was “old fashion”, she just have done something, which no one, in this world ever did, which caused, then, just, quite logically, this “strange/loving” behavior of my Ancestry Grandfather the King Henry VIII, towards her.
