Poor Queen Anne
May 19 2008, 5:25 PM EDT I really do feel sorry for Anne and those who are accused of being her lover. They had nothing to do with Anne expect respect and love her as a queen should be loved. Henry only did that because of his deformed son and saying that the child was never his. He even call her a f**king bitch. What's even sad is that Anne has to watch the execution of her brother and the others that were accused with her of being her lover. Poor, poor Anne. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I know that Warnicke theorized that the child Anne lost was deformed but I don't think there's ever been any contemporary suggestion of that. Do you find this valuable? |

May 19 2008, 10:02 PM EDT yes it was sad to see all this people been executed just to give Henry room to marry once more, so sad to see Anne watching while her brother is executed and so creepy to see her father reaction to her pain all he care was to keep his head on. Do you find this valuable? |

Many pregnancies of women who carry a deformed fetus, end in miscarriage. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Henry did take a quick glance and shooed it away with more than a little disgust. Hello? This fetus was not full term; so was it truly deformed or just not fully formed? The ignorance is amazing! It's amazing how many threads there are. I wasn't even aware of this one until tonight. It's hard to keep up with them all. Do you find this valuable? |

I believe the fetus begins to look human at 4 months gestation, but may have some characteristic looks of "deformity". Do you find this valuable? |

Also, I keep thinking about Diana. Just think, would Charles have her beheaded? I also think that Henry should have been beheaded for screwing around on Anne. And we know that is true - she was beheaded because lies. Do you find this valuable? |

"There are some people who think Charles did have Diana put to death, but there's no real evidence for that. I don't know if you want to get me started on the way poor Diana was treated. To marry that naive 19 year old girl when he knew he was in love with another woman he had no intention of giving up was absolutely terrible. On a happier note, I wonder when William and Kate will get married? What a great couple!! Do you find this valuable? |

I feel like you do about Charles. Even his own mother knows he is a twit. That is why he isn't king and I don't believe he ever will be. I think old granny Liz is going to pass it down to Wills. The Tudors are screwed up but the Windsors are just as bad. Prince Philip is a butthead and treats everyone that way and I wonder if Charles is in his right mind because he was with Diana (God Bless Her) and he was acting like a dog in heat after "what's her nose" Can you believe it ? I need to get some sleep. I have to fly tomorrow and it is 2:51am here in TX and it is so hot!! Nite- nite and I will check ya 'all out tomorrow. I feel bad for Diana, however, as she had no idea what she was getting herself into when she married the Prince of Wales. Just as she was maturing, coming into her own and happy, the tragic incident happened. I really felt sorry for her boys, as Diana brought some degree of normalcy into their lives. Anne lost her very last chance with Henry when she wasn't able to produce a living male heir. One of her biggest selling points to Henry was she kept telling him that she would be able to give him the son he wasn't able to get from Catherine. Do you find this valuable? |

I want to do a Jane Seymour Bashing - Think you will be up for it?Hey there. I'm so glad to hear you're from KC. I was just there last week visiting my Mom. Kansas City is a nice city. The weather isn't the greatest, but it is otherwise very pleasant and affordable, and the people are very friendly, probably because it isn't so crowded. You mentioned that you were travelling there today. May actually is a lovely time of year to be in KC. I now live in the LA area, where it's two hours earlier than Texas. Still, it was late here too when I wrote that comment. I've been up late all week, because I'm presenting a big project tonight for a class I'm taking at UCLA. I agree with your assessment of the Windsors, and I have the same empathy for Diana that I have for most of Henry's wives. Ironically, like many of them, Diana was treated very poorly and then died tragically. Do you find this valuable? |

I do agree with you that Diana was a mere girl when she married into that family and had no idea what she was getting into. She was literally "a lamb being led to slaughter" the day she walked down the aisle to marry Charles. Very sad. Do you find this valuable? |
