Where is the Series Filmed?
The Tudors is an Irish/Canadian Co-Production filmed 80% at Ardmore Studios in Bray , Co. Wicklow, Ireland and 20% at various Locations like Dublin City, Dublin Castle, Kilmainham Jail & Lord Meath's estate at Killruddery House.

Locations : The third series of "The Tudors" are using Ardmore Studios, Luggala, Killruddery House and Gardens, Christchurch Cathedral in Dublin, Humewood Castle and Powerscourt Estate in County Wicklow, Ireland for locations throughout the summer of 2008.

It's uniqueness in having one of the most extensive early formal gardens, still in their original style, surviving in Ireland, largely laid out in the 17th century and added to in the 19th century

It is renowned for its magnificent gardens, the highest waterfall in Ireland & an 18 hole championship golf course within the 1000 acre estate. It was originally an important strategic site for the Anglo- Normans who came to Ireland in the late 12th century. By the year 1300 a castle had been built & was in the possession of the Le Poer (Power) family.

Humewood Castle, Kiltegan is located in Ireland's Wicklow Mountains & was designed by English architect William White in 1867 for William Wentworth Fitzwilliam Hume Dick. The residence was recently bought by international businesswoman Renata E. Coleman.
