| Favorite character: King Henry VIII | Lesson learned: The King always gets what he wants Reason to watch: Obviously JRM! I'm fixated on: King Henry's relationship with his new Queen and Peter O'Toole as Pope John Paul III. |
| Favorite character: S. Thomas More | Lesson learned: If you have the power the unthinkable becomes reality Reason to watch: Obviously JRM!!! I'm fixated on: the reasons alleged by Henry VIII to become Head of the Church of England. |
| #3 User name: RogerParker Favorite character: Anne Boleyn | Lesson learned: Sex is a powerful motivator Reason to watch: Natalie Dormer -- her acting is amazing I'm fixated on: Anne's development ;) |
| Favorite character:Thomas More and Catherine of Aragon second: Anne Boleyn | Lesson learned: A king is not a king when he is dominated by lust rather then reason. We are all human and even saintly men like 'st.' Thomas More have their dark and dangerous black side. We all do what we can, there is no villains or heroes but humans who were manipulated by extreme reason of lust, money or power or ambition to take somebody else's crown, wealth or position. Even Catherine is not an exemption to this, like Anne and Henry cardinal she believes her will to be ultimate and right. Reason to watch: There is no villains or heroes here, if you want a villain here then the only one might be Henry and even he is portrayed here as a person with conflicts both inner and outer, here all are not exempt from good and bad dark qualities. Enjoy it, show superb, acting ok, no! even better then ok, nice, and very exalted in all. You truly believe they are who they are. I'm fixated on: Thomas More, the actor is so handsome! Charles Brandon Duke of Norfolk. |
| Favorite characters: Anne & Henry | Lesson learned: Don't trust anyone Reason to watch: Great Bodice ripping FUN I'm fixated on: anything Tudor. The story, the politics, the costumes and of course the actors are not hard on the eyes. |
| Favorite character:I heart them All. | Lesson learned: One Women Can Change History Reason to watch: King Henry VIII was Not a Gluttonous, Wife Killing Monster all his life. He was, in fact, in his younger years the Most Handsome King in Christendom. Obviously, Jonathan Myers Does help with most Handsome part. I'm fixated on: It would be unjustifiable to pin point only one thing! |
| Favorite character: Henry VIII | Lesson learned: Whatever Henry wants, Henry gets! Reason to watch: Absolutely fascinating characters. Loads of suspense and intrigue. I'm fixated on: JRM as the young Henry. |
| Favorite character: Thomas Tallis | Lesson learned: Don't believe everything you see on TV. Reason to watch: To see what new antics those writers/producers will come up with! I'm fixated on: None of the characters look like themselves, least of all Henry VIII! |
| #9 User name:BoleynGirl13 Favorite character:Anne Boleyn and Thomas More | Lesson learned: If a King knows his own strength; then no one can control him. Reason to watch: JRM and I'm a huge Tudor buff. I love anything to do with them. I'm fixated on: Watching Anne & Henry's relationship progress and Thomas More's internal struggle with what's right. |
| Favorite character:Charles Brandon | Lesson learned: Men love women who play hard to get Reason to watch: Big Tudor Buff and to see if they add anymore of Mary Boleyn to the story line.. I'm fixated on: The fall of Anne |
| Favorite character:The King | Lesson learned: It's Good to be the King Mel Brooks' History of the World) Reason to watch: It's a very good show~! I'm fixated on: My dogs constant scratching! |
| Favorite character(s): Katharine of Aragon, John Fisher, Thomas More | Lesson learned: Some things are worth standing up for even if the price is your life Reason to watch: Seeing the besieged Katharine of Aragon defy Henry, John Fisher follow his conscience, and Thomas More wrestle with his. In the end his conscience triumphs. I'm fixated on: What an incredibly tyrannical megalomaniac Henry was. He didn't just mistreat his wives, but also his daughters, and Elizabeth at least, was not defying him.She was guilty of nothing more than being her mother's daughter, and becoming an inconvenience once her mother was disposed of. I can't imagine what any woman would find attractive unless she was in love with power, and even as his queen, every one of his wives was at the mercy of his whims and his insane quest for a male heir. He was no bargain and it is well to remember that the real Henry looked nothing like Jonathan Rhys Myers. |
| Favorite character: Henry | Lesson learned: It's good to be king. Reason to watch: The lips! Scrummy. I'm fixated on: The lips. |
| Favorite character: Anne Boleyn | Lesson learned: Be careful what you wish for... Reason to watch: To continue the suspense that we were left in after season 1.....I'm excited!!! I'm fixated on: How this season ends...and hoping for a 3rd........fingers crossed! |
| Favorite character: | Lesson learned: Reason to watch: |
| Favorite character: | Lesson learned: Reason to watch: Starting from the outside in, the clothes are amazing and sometimes I rewatch the show just to check out the clothes and jewelry. Then there's the directing and locations which make history come to life in a sweeping, epic, dramatic style. There's the amazing cast which sometimes only looks good but often brings fire and ice to their characters, Finally, it's one of the most fascinating, thrilling, enticing, horrific stories in English history. You've read about them, you've heard about them, and now they come to life before your very eyes.....the Tudors and the court of Henry the VIII. History coming to life....what could be better than that! I'm fixated on: |
| Favorite character: Henry VIII And Anne Boleyn | Lesson learned: Reason to watch: obviously JRM, but, the series it intelligent, anyone is good every body have a demon inside. plus! the history is amaizing. and only for see JRM is god to see this serie. I'm fixated on: |

| Favorite character: Charles Brandon | Lesson learned: All those petticoats and hoops and panniers weren't much of a deterrent for a determined king. Reason to watch: Henry Cavill, of course. He's a brilliant actor and his character Charles Brandon has some of the funniest lines in the show. Plus, he's not that hard on the eyes... I'm fixated on: The fact that Charles Brandon married Mary Tudor and not Margaret Tudor. Mary lived much longer... yes, you can tell that I'm a Henry Cavill fan, but still... I'm fixated on Charles Brandon's relationship with the king and also with his future spouse. |
| Favorite character: Sir Thomas More or Catherine of Aragon | Lesson learned: Reason to watch: I don't like everything about the show, but I find the Tudor period to be endlessly fascinating. Got hooked on the period due to A Man for All Seasons and Elizabeth. First watched to see Peter O'Toole's cameo in Season 2 Episode 1, thankfully I got hooked on the show as a result. I'm fixated on: Thomas More's clash with Henry VIII, the Act of Supremacy, and Mr. O'Toole |
| Favorite character: Thomas Tallis | Lesson learned: Court life was hazardous to one's health in a multitude of ways. Reason to watch: To see what Mr. Hirst has in store for the Beautiful Genius this season. I'm fixated on: Tallis. I'm pretty single-minded. ;) |

| Favorite character: Charles Brandon | Lesson learned: Becoming drunk with absolute power can lead to alcohol poisoning. Reason to watch: The actors are all AMAZING! I'm fixated on: The costumes. They are simply gorgeous. |
| Favorite character:Anne Boleyn | Lessons learned: Even when your Daddy sends you to finishing school in France, it's no guarantee you'll meet Mr. Right! And to always keep your head squarely on your shoulders. Reason to watch: Fabulous costumes, Henry and Charles are total cuties. Anne is beautiful and haunting. Love those executions. Love all the actors. Please don't hurt that adorable Mark Smeaton. I'm fixated on: Henry's bad behavior and ruthlessness. |
| Favorite character: King Henry | Lesson learned: Men can never get enough of the horizontal bop! Reason to Watch: The acting is incredible. You really feel that you are there yourself, so be careful........ I'm fixated on: Henry, I'm wondering how he's going to look as the old, fat Henry....yuk. |
| Favorite character:Henry | Lesson learned: That Power and Youth DO NT mix. Reason to watch: JRM! as Henry VIII! I'm fixated on:Henry and Ann and how things seem to be changing..quickly. |
| Favorite character: Katherine of Aragon | Lesson learned: Absolute power corrupts absolutely Reason to watch: It's a riveting story, and most of the actors are very talented I'm fixated on: The costumes - i want to make them |
| Favorite character: Anne Boleyn | Lesson learned: Kings are capricious and dangerous Reason to watch: It's beyond my control I'm fixated on: Anne |
| Favorite character: Duke of Suffolk, Thomas Cromwell | Lesson learned: Think before you speak Reason to watch: Brilliant cast and chemistry; the best produced / written / edited / directed show on TV; a terrific interpretation and presentation of King Henry's, um, idiosyncrasies; lust at first sight with Henry Cavill. I'm fixated on: watching the events unfold even though I can recite you the history. |
| Favorite character: Charles Brandon | Lesson learned: When the sun went down so did the Tudors. Reason to watch: Henry Cavill...he's gorgeous and a great actor and he has some great lines. Also the fact that my favorite part of history is the Tudor reign. Lastly, because of the characters Mark Smeaton and Thomas Wyatt. They're pretty lovable and funny. I'm fixated on: the way each episode unfolds because even though I know the history by heart the show doesn't always play it out the way it was. |
| Favorite character: Sir Thomas More, Katherine of Aragon, Mary Tudor I, Jane Seymour | Lesson learned: What goes around comes around, be weary of Karma. Reason to watch: Jeremy Northam as Sir Thomas More, his acting is spot on and portrays More very passionately. Also, the show in general is just a guilty pleasure and great to talk about. Or you can sound smart with your friends if you are a Tudor buff and say "What really happened..." I'm fixated on: Despite that I know what happens, I can't wait for each episode and how the actors portray Historical figures. |
| Favorite character: Henry VIII | Lesson learned: Everyone is the hero of their own personal drama even if they are a villain. No matter the cruel things people do to each other they always perceive themselves as the protagonist. Reason to watch: Great cast, great story line and costumes. The acting is is much better than 99% of the movies. I'm fixated on: JRM |
| Favorite character: Charles Brandon and Thomas More | Lesson learned: Being a Queen isn't always a GOOD thing..... Reason to watch: It is a wonderfully acted and engrossing story; the people are beautiful and the costumes are beautiful. I'm fixated on: how I can hate a character one day, but love him or her the next; the show is so well written in that they make every character human and you can understand why they act they way the do, even when you disagree with them. |
| Favorite character:All of them | Lesson learned: Passions and Power make a dangerous mix Reason to watch: After seeing a couple of photos from the show, I thought I wouldn't like it: too many historical inaccuracies, starting with the fact that Henry VIII is not even portrayed with his trademark red hair. However, Once I started watching, I got hooked:despite the regrettable inaccuracies, the characterisation is amazing and the actors carry their roles so well. JRM is an excellent Henry (I still want to see him with red hair) and Natalie Dormer is superb as Anne Boleyn. The rest of the cast are just fabulous: Peter O'Toole, Sam Neil, Jeremy Northam, Henry Cavill, etc, they're all brilliant! This is the sort of show that will spark an interest in those who considered History boring when they were at school. It's got the human depth, the drama, the glam, the rhythm to get you hooked on Tudor history. I'm fixated on:The character's complexities. |
| Favorite character: Tie Between Anne Boleyn & Henry VIII | Lesson learned: Never Get Too Comfortable. You could lose your head. Reason to watch: The history, the drama, the bedroom antics, and JRM OF COURSE! I'm fixated on: See above! |

| Favorite character: All of them | Lesson learned: Don't became King Henry's foreign mail-order bride unless you've got a good strategy for keeping his favor. When in doubt, bat your eyes and pretend you don't speak English. (See Anne of Cleves) Reason to watch: Watching where the creators chose to depart from history and trying to understand why they did, sometimes it's annoying other times it makes the show much more creative than the show's predecessors. I'm fixated on: Everything Tudor related! |
| Favorite characters: Young Elizabeth I and Mary I (and hopefully Anne of Cleves!) | Lesson learned: It's more important to portray the spirit of Henry VIII than to have his red hair and fat stomach (see Jonathan Rhys Myers!)
