| Favorite character: King Henry VIII | Lesson learned: The King always gets what he wants Reason to watch: Obviously JRM! I'm fixated on: King Henry's relationship with his new Queen and Peter O'Toole as Pope John Paul III. |
| #2 User name: Cinéfila Favorite character: S. Thomas More | Lesson learned: If you have the power the unthinkable becomes reality Reason to watch: Obviously JRM!!! I'm fixated on: the reasons alleged by Henry VIII to become Head of the Church of England. |
| #3 User name: RogerParker Favorite character: Anne Boleyn | Lesson learned: Sex is a powerful motivator Reason to watch: Natalie Dormer -- her acting is amazing I'm fixated on: Anne's development ;) |
| Favorite character:Thomas More and Catherine of Aragon second: Anne Boleyn | Lesson learned: A king is not a king when he is dominated by lust rather then reason. We are all human and even saintly men like 'st.' Thomas More have their dark and dangerous black side. We all do what we can, there is no villains or heroes but humans who were manipulated by extreme reason of lust, money or power or ambition to take somebody else's crown, wealth or position. Even Catherine is not an exemption to this, like Anne and henry cardinal she believes her will to be ultimate and right. Reason to watch: There is no villains or heroes here, if you want a villain here then the only one might be Henry and even he is portrayed here as a person with conflicts both inner and outer, here all are not exempt from good and bad dark qualities. Enjoy it, show superb, acting ok, no! even better then ok, nice, and very exalted in all. You truly believe they are who they are. I'm fixated on: Thomas More, the actor is so handsome! Charles Brandon Duke of Norfolk. |
| Favorite characters: Anne & Henry | Lesson learned: Don't trust anyone Reason to watch: Great Bodice ripping FUN I'm fixated on: anything Tudor. The story, the politics, the costumes and of course the actors are not hard on the eyes. |
| #6 User name:LadyBritni Favorite character:I heart them All. | Lesson learned: One Women Can Change History Reason to watch: King Henry VIII was Not a Gluttonous, Wife Killing Monster all his life. He was, in fact, in his younger years the Most Handsome King in Christendom. Obviously, Jonathan Myers Does help with most Handsome part. I'm fixated on: It would be unjustifiable to pin point only one thing! |
| Favorite character: Henry VIII | Lesson learned: Whatever Henry wants, Henry gets! Reason to watch: Absolutely fascinating characters. Loads of suspense and intrigue. I'm fixated on: JRM as the young Henry. |
| Favorite character: Thomas Tallis | Lesson learned: Don't believe everything you see on TV. Reason to watch: To see what new antics those writers/producers will come up with! I'm fixated on: None of the characters look like themselves, least of all Henry VIII! |
| #9 User name:BoleynGirl13 Favorite character:Anne Boleyn and Thomas More | Lesson learned: If a King knows his own strength; then no one can control him. Reason to watch: JRM and I'm a huge Tudor buff. I love anything to do with them. I'm fixated on: Watching Anne & Henry's relationship progress and Thomas More's internal struggle with what's right. |
| Favorite character:Charles Brandon | Lesson learned: Men love women who play hard to get Reason to watch: Big Tudor Buff and to see if they add anymore of Mary Boleyn to the story line.. I'm fixated on: The fall of Anne |
| Favorite character:The King | Lesson learned: It's Good to be the King Mel Brooks' History of the World) Reason to watch: It's a very good show~! I'm fixated on: My dogs constant scratching! |
| Favorite character(s): Katharine of Aragon, John Fisher, Thomas More | Lesson learned: Some things are worth standing up for even if the price is your life Reason to watch: Seeing the besieged Katharine of Aragon defy Henry, John Fisher follow his conscience, and Thomas More wrestle with his. In the end his conscience triumphs. I'm fixated on: What an incredibly tyrannical megalomaniac Henry was. He didn't just mistreat his wives, but also his daughters, and Elizabeth at least, was not defying him.She was guilty of nothing more than being her mother's daughter, and becoming an inconvenience once her mother was disposed of. I can't imagine what any woman would find attractive unless she was in love with power, and even as his queen, every one of his wives was at the mercy of his whims and his insane quest for a male heir. He was no bargain and it is well to remember that the real Henry looked nothing like Jonathan Rhys Myers. |
| # 13 User name: Patty Favorite character: Henry | Lesson learned: It's good to be king. Reason to watch: The lips! Scrummy. I'm fixated on: The lips. |

| Favorite character: | Lesson learned: Reason to watch: Starting from the outside in, the clothes are amazing and sometimes I rewatch the show just to check out the clothes and jewelry. Then there's the directing and locations which make history come to life in a sweeping, epic, dramatic style. There's the amazing cast which sometimes only looks good but often brings fire and ice to their characters, Finally, it's one of the most fascinating, thrilling, inticing, horrific stories in English history. You've read about them, you've heard about them, and now they come to life before your very eyes.....the Tudors and the court of Henry the VIII. History coming to life....what could be better than that! I'm fixated on: |

| Favorite character: Charles Brandon | Lesson learned: All those petticoats and hoops and panniers weren't much of a detterent for a determined king. Reason to watch: Henry Cavill, of course. He's a brilliant actor and his character Charles Brandon has some of the funniest lines in the show. Plus, he's not that hard on the eyes... I'm fixated on: The fact that Charles Brandon married Mary Tudor and not Margaret Tudor. Mary lived much longer... yes, you can tell that I'm a Henry Cavill fan, but still... I'm fixated on Charles Brandon's relationship with the king and also with his future spouse. |
| Favorite character: Sir Thomas More or Catherine of Aragon | Lesson learned: Reason to watch: I don't like everything about the show, but I find the Tudor period to be endlessly fascinating.
