| Sjadine | Anne'sCurls | Because Anne of Cleves deserves some love. I don't understand how the world has written off Henry's allegations against Anne Boleyn as false but continues to believe his accusation that Anne of Cleves was ugly! She deserves so much more than what history has given her. She was the smart wife, that got away from that disgusting, fat, psychopath with her life and some dignity. |
| Amy | theothertudorgirl - Team Leader | Anne of Cleves is overlooked in history and history has been cruel to her. She was smart, knew to say yes to an already dead marriage and ended up having the best life out of all of the Queens. |
| Emily | forgetful_blonde | Anne of Cleves has always spoken out to me as someone who has been unfairly mistreated in her life, not just by Henry but her family as well. I don't believe she was as 'ugly and stupid' as Henry claimed her to be, I think she was a very intelligent woman who was smart enough to look upon Henry's previous marriages and decided to get a divorce instead of trying to fight Henry. |
| Julia | LadyLizzy | Anne of Cleves was a young woman in a foreign country whose language she didn't understand in the beginning. Nevertheless she made the best out of the circumstances and was well beloved by the people. She managed to survive Henry's whims and always cared for his children. By setting her aside and marrying Katherine Howard, Henry made a fool of himself! |
| Sara | queen_elizabeth_1533 | Anne seems like a nice girl, and she was very brave. She was put in a difficult situation, and she managed to make it out alive. She didn't have the striking personality of some of Henry's other wives, but she was intelligent, kind, and willing to try. |
| Monica | twiztedempress | AoC is the most overlooked wife although her survival should impress us far more than it does. I love her humility and her motherly concern for all of Henry VIII's children. |
| Maria | LadyJane | She was a smart women who got the best deal of all the wives. |
| Victoria | Hever | She seems a sweet woman! |
| Alex | Edwardfan123 | She seems a nice woman who did not deserve the blame from the king because she was ugly (Everyone is beautful) and can't speak English. She Deserves Love |
| [Private] | hohumpigsbum - team leader | his beautiful Amazing woman needs the recognition she deserves!!! |
| Emily | QueenEmy191989 | Anne of Cleves may not have been well looking but she was a wonderful girl and queen. She was smart, kind and willing to do anything to make her marriage work and she went out with great dignity within the marriage. She deserves as much love as she can. :) All Hail Anne of Cleves. |
| TheSecondWife | After watching episode 7, my heart immediately went out to the poor, forsaken Anne of Cleves. Joss Stone played Anne perfectly, bringing a breath of fresh air to the show after weeks of boredom. (I also loved when she told off Cromwell, remarking Henry ain't so hot himself! :D) As with Natalie Dormer as Anne Boleyn, Joss Stone has now inspired me to find out more about this intriguing woman. | |
| Katrina | heverhoney | Anne of Cleves had it rough, but she came out on top and the most long-lived of Henry's wives! I love her because she is mysterious, seems to know what is good for her, and is beautifully played by Joss Stone! |
| Brenna | Brennalarose | Of all of Anne's queens, she gets the least love in history and was most likely the smartest. The rest pushed Henry's buttons, only she knew how to "keep her head"! |
| Gloria | Eternity123 | Poor Anne - she needs some love! But hey, at least she got to keep her head. Joss did a fantastic job as her (which I must admit suprised me); i'm glad she's coming back for the final season. Oh and I think she was beautiful, in comparison to the other wives (yeah I know different times...). |
| Elizabeth | lady_lizbeth_sanson | I just love Joss Stone and Ann of Cleves is so miss understood it must have been hell for her to come to a new country to a man alot older who she has never seen and been expeted to have a child to him. |
| Karen | Karenofbethany | A passionate R & B singer with no acting experience takes on the role of one of the most unique relationships in the monarcy. She played it with the dignity, restraint and innocence I imagined Anna had. What a contrast to "Son of a Preacher Man!" The bedroom scenes, her fear, her quiet humiliation, were so touching. She showed a very soft, feminine and totally believable persona here. And I loved the warmth she showed to Mary, who in the show was clearly hostile to her. |
