MEMORABLE QUOTES
- ‘The Tudors’ is completely different from, I think, anything really that I’ve done before. Princess Mary is a dark character who has been suppressed her whole life and she’s so devoted to the Catholic religion and feels that that’s her only escape. It’s the only thing that’s looking after her because she’s forbidden from seeing her mother and her dad doesn’t want to see her because he’s gone off with Anne Boleyn and I think it’s such a different role from this like feisty, bubbly Mallory. Actually, the sword fight would probably come in handy with Mary. I’m so sure she’s going to kill someone at some stage. Q: Well, she is Bloody Mary. Sarah: She is indeed. She killed so many Protestants.
- (on choosing roles which display inner strength and confidence) I have to admit that I do try and chose roles like that with women who are strong characters and good role models and not damsels in distress.
- I love reading scripts and I love understanding a character and getting into that character. I'm no a method actress in any sense but I enjoy "being" that character and working at it and I do a lot of research on the characters.

- First major acting role was in the film "In America" which she co-stared with her sister Emma Bolger.
- During Sarah's 14th birthday which coincided with the 2005 Independent Spirit Awards,the whole audience, including Tom Cruise sang "Happy Birthday" to her at the show.
- Aside from continuing a career in acting, Sarah would like to pursue studies in Astronomy. She is also interested in law, writing and computers and may take any of those up in college.
