yes. What a good point! One can only imagine how odd it must have all seemed to grow up like this - as if people were just expendable, even the odd Uncle!

It really wasn't much on what their relationship was like considering that King Henry died when Edward only nine years old but what there was he might have love and care for him more than he did his daughters

"Lady Jane Grey was pushed upon Edward by those advisers who wanted a Protestant English alternative to Edward marrying a foreign Catholic princess. There's little evidence that this was a romantic intention of Edward's to marry his cousin Jane. They shared tutors growing up, they shared religion, they were both euridite young people, they had plenty in common but I think they were too young to think of the other as a love interest.

As for Edward always being thought of as sickly, probably the way Edward was raised by his father led to that point of view. Henry had Edward cloustered up in his own household where the floors were scrubbed daily to prevent disease from entering the house. Later, Edward was forbidden by his father to take part in jousts or any activity deamed too rigourous. Despite being mostly in good health for his childhood, Edward lived the life of a bubble boy. At age four Edward came down with something called "quartan fever" but I doubt he would have remembered that to record in his diary."

Thank you guys for the info. I dont know why I thought I had read he was sickly. But that is what I love about this wiki. Learning from each other. I spoke to soon and out of place. I should not have given such a harsh comment on him, when Its really his father I dislike. And to say anything more was ill will of me. Well the womanizing part anyways. The oher I honestly thought I had read that and just made sense to me since the Tudors werent always healthy.
