During her school years she trained in dance at the Allenova School of Dancing. Natalie has said that she suffered from bullying problems during her childhood and it's something she "still can't place today." Just 6 months out of Drama School, she landed a role in the movie Casanova

Because she starts off as this very intelligent, highly intuitive girl. And then suddenly she's thrust into this arena by her father Thomas Boleyn - played incredibly by Nick Dunning. Jane was the half-sister of the Catholic former Sheriff of Buckinghamshire, had been the loyal companion of Mary Tudor; after Mary's death, she led several Tudor noblewomen into Catholic exile in Spain. She had become a Spanish Countess, and after a duchess, by her marriage to the Duke of Feria, Philip II of Spain's former representative in England. Jane Dormer's memoirs contain some evidence on the real Boleyn's age, which is still a source of much academic dispute.

    Jane Dormer was a lady in waiting to Queen Mary I, daughter of Katharine of Aragon and Henry VIII. After Mary's death, she married a Spanish grandee, Don Gomez Suarez de Figueroa of Cordova, Duke of Feria. Jane Dormer's autobiography was the source of accounts of the reigns of Edward VI, Henry's son, and Mary I (Weir, pg 228.) Does anyone know if Natalie Dormer is descended from the family of Jane Dormer?

    watching series 2 of the Tudors.
    I loved Natalie Dormer's performance as Lady Anne she was truly amazing. I'm finding it hard to watch sometimes when Henry cheats on her. Sad i know but she is a very believable character.

    For all the Natalie fans, watch out for her on the new Fox show "Masterwork" from the creators of "Prison Break". For a nice change she won't be playing a role that requires a corset! She will be playing an M15 agent who jet sets around the world with a male FBI agent (who hasn't been cast yet) recovering artifacts and treasures. http://www.hitfix.com/articles/2009-3-11-tudors-vixen-comes-to-fox
