Reena studies ancient Latin translations and Persian, her father George Hammer owns the Urban Retreat Spa at the top of Harrods in London and her mother is Ruby Hammer , a very famous make-up artist who is co-owner of Ruby & Milne make-up products.

the Trinity College Philosophical Society
during a special ceremony on
Sunday, October 6, 2008 in Dublin, Ireland.

Society president Barry Devlin said, “We look for people who we feel represent the spirit and values embodied by former pioneering Irish people like Oscar Wilde. We are delighted to present this award to such a list of diverse and talented individuals such as Jonathan Rhys Myers.”

Other recipient of this award was republican presidential candidate John McCain in 2006.

Jonathan with his Mom, Geri Meyers-O'Keeffe, who died in 2007 at the age of 50 after a short illness.

Celebrities at her funeral at St. Joseph's Church in Glanmire, County Cork, included fellow actors Colin Farrell and Cillian Murphy. Rhys Meyers attended with his girlfriend, Reena Hammer; his father, John O'Keeffe; and his brothers, Alan, Jamie and Paul.

The parish priest, the Rev. Noel O'Sullivan, described Meyers-O'Keeffe, a former charity worker, as a
"loving, caring mother who would go out of her way to help people."

I just found several sites with this article:

Meyers detained by airport police

Irish actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers was handcuffed and questioned after he allegedly, while drunk, challenged police to a fight in a French airport.

Meyers, 31, is best known for his work on TV's "The Tudors," as well as in the movies "Match Point" and "August Rush."

He has previously spent time in rehab to treat his addiction to alcohol and was arrested in 2007 for being drunk and disorderly in a Dublin airport. Those charges were subsequently dismissed.

The Sun newspaper said Wednesday police at Charles DeGaulle in Paris handcuffed the actor after he allegedly boasted about how rich he is, tossed euros on the floor and told the officers: "You wanna hit me? Hit me!"

He was later released pending further inquiries, the newspaper said.

I was able to purchase a bona-fide autograph of Johnathan Rhys Meyres, James Frain from Ebay. It came with papers of authenticity. I paid many crowns for this item. It is an 8 X 10 color glossy picture that I have never seen before from the Tudors....It is, uh, quite, the thing. (Okay, it's gorgeous.) Friday, my husband and I took it to a professional framing place. It will be double matted, and the frame is absolutely incredible; a kind of brushed silver-gold with an old look to it. Curley-cues cover all sides. It will also have non-reflective UV glass on it.

When I get it, I will scan it in so everyone can see it. Henry Cavill is in the photograph, but he did not sign it.
