From everything I've read about Cromwell he was a cruel ambitious man. Frain - whom I love - plays him as as thoughtful and contemplative = esp. in his kind treatment towards Thomas More. Also, he's too handsome to be Cromwell.

I agree he is too nice,the real Cromwell was a calculating monster that reformed england and made king henry rich.But james does play him well and i just love him in season 2 hes a bit more darker can't wait for season 3 .
