I know that Henry is in the dreams of many, many women and it is normal to be this way. Not to say obvious! He is in my dreams too!
A couple of days ago, I read about the place he went to in order to work for Town Creek. Last year, he was here, just a few miles away. I am so sad (and upset) because I did not know. I am upset because it's all my fault, I should have read more. I wish I had known.
I was confessing a little bit earlier he is in my dreams. And in my dreams what I "tell" him mostly, is the translation of a beautiful poem written by a sensitive Romanian poet. It sounds like this:
Tell me,
if one day I caught you
and kissed your sole,
wouldn't you limp for a while
for fear you might squash my kiss?
Beautiful, isn't it? Maybe it is better I didn't know he was so close to me. I would have been overwhelmed by the idea that I am considered to be just one of his many fan. I try to imagine what it is like to be in his shoes. You are beautiful and there are so many women out there pretending they are in love with you or with Charles Brandon ;). How would you know which one is the right (not the perfect) one, your soulmate? Which one would you chose for the first morning together? (This is something I learned from one of my MBA Professors. He was saying: "Try to imagine what the first morning together would be like if you want to find out whether you really want to be with someone. Imagine that person wearing pijamas, using the toothbrush, not looking as perfect as he/she looks on a date, and you will know if he/she is the one).
This is what I think. And I keep my love for him, for it is love, an impossible, modest love. And I keep my tiny hope locked in my soul as a diamond in an ancient chest: the hope that, one day, if it is meant to be, I will meet him. And I dare imagine Henry will read this and like my thoughts coming straight from my heart.

I'm waiting for each chapter anxiously just to see him. Does it happen to anybody else?
Well, now I've said it, I'm going to go on with my work.
