Henry VIII

I cannot decide if i shall love or loathe Henry... he was a rather selfish man who put many on the block & i think i am leaning towards Loathe. His father was an accompilished man, no doubt, but i think Henry VIII was a lazy & rude man.

I for one believe he lived his life for his own desire & for none else. He also had too many wives killed off. I think Katherine Howard was rather permiscuous, but Anne should have died warm in her bead. It's his own fault he did'nt get a healthy son. Yes, I think i shall loathe him... anyone agree?

But without Henry VIII we would not have the Church of England.

2 wives isnt' that bad Well three if you want to count Jane (that is debatable). It EASILY could Have been 4. Actually Parr was almost arrested and tried for treason.

He wasnt lazy, he wasx actually an incredible athlete. And he wasnt Rude, just spoiled.

KThnx XD

I agree with you 100%. However lets all admit that we love loathing him. His life, and the lives of the women he married, are all so fascinating! Do you find this valuable?

I will loath Henry I know it was not his fault he was not porperly prepared to be king or have that temper, we cant avoid being like that or feeling but he could control
after all I believe in using the brain or self control to rule
and I think Hnery believed himself to be so over the top that he did not need that, he left himself being ruled by pasion and lust not by caring for his people or self control.
But I guess in season 2 we will see how far they will go.

He let his beard grow, JRM, and they are dressing him in one preview I saw like the Henry VIII we all know, so probably we will see a more close up of what he physically looked.

Without Henry VIII the church of enlgand would not be, but so would not so much suffering and blood at the time after he got disturbed by madness and passion, so the ones who made the churdch of england no longer a massacre were Edward and Elizabeth I Do you find this valuable?
