My lovely icon was made by the talented Jes89. Thank you so much!!!!!:-)

Hello there! My name is Jessica. I live in the state of Georgia, in the U.S.A. I'm a student in my twenties.
I like studying psychology, history, and foreign languages. I love fashion and ballet. I am fascinated with
tragic historical figures, such as Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette, Tsar Nicholas II of Russia and his family,
Bonnie and Clyde, and Queens Mary I, Mary of Scots, Katharine of Aragon, and Katheryn Howard.
I'm friendly and diplomatic. I try to see all sides to a story, and treat all opinions with respect.

I love period dramas!!!

My favorite Wives of Henry VIII
I respect all of Henry's wives, but these three are my favorites:

Katherine of Aragon 1502 Portrait miniature of Catherine Howard, by Hans Holbein the Younger. The manner of dress and jewellery suggest the subject's identity as Catherine. home - The Tudors Wiki
Katharine of Aragon (Catalina de Aragon), "Queen of Hearts" Katheryn Howard, "A rose without a thorn" Catherine Parr
My ABSOLUTE favorite of all the Tudor queens! She was everything a queen should be: regal, dignified, and gracious. Despite all of the hell Henry put her through, she loved him until she died. She is a wonderful role model! R.I.P. Catalina! She is one of my favorites because her story is really interesting to me. Even though she is depicted as being unintelligent, she was still a very kind person, who pleaded for the mercy of those that had fallen out of favor with the king.
I pity her because she was a victim of her family's ambition. R.I.P. Kitty!
She was intelligent, and a wonderful stepmother to Elizabeth, Mary, and Edward. She helped to restore Mary and Elizabeth to the succession. R.I.P. Catherine!

"My most dear lord, king and husband,
The hour of my death now drawing on, the tender love I owe you forceth me, my case being such, to commend myself to you, and to put you in remembrance with a few words of the health and safeguard of your soul which you ought to prefer before all worldly matters, and before the care and pampering of your body, for the which you have cast me into many calamities and yourself into many troubles. For my part, I pardon you everything, and I wish to devoutly pray God that He will pardon you also. For the rest, I commend unto you our daughter Mary, beseeching you to be a good father unto her, as I have heretofore desired. I entreat you also, on behalf of my maids, to give them marriage portions, which is not much, they being but three. For all my other servants I solicit the wages due them, and a year more, lest they be unprovided for. Lastly, I make this vow, that mine eyes desire you above all things."
Katharine the Quene.

Does being married to Henry VIII cause alcoholism? ;-)

Princess Margaret/Prince Charles - The Tudors Wiki
Henry and Jane
Charles and Margaret (Mary, in reality) had so much passion and intensity! Plus, the story of them marrying without Henry's permission is so romantic. Unfortunately, "The Tudors" never showed Henry's marriage to KoA before it went sour. Henry and Jane were very cute together, though. Jane's death scene was one of the most heartwrenching scenes in the entire series. JRM's portrayal showed a completely broken Henry. Their relationship was a tender and loving one. Jane helped to bring together a broken family, and gave birth to the son Henry had so longed for.
Mary Tudor & Duke Philipp
Mary and Philip of Bavaria!!! They were so adorable! Lord knows that the poor girl deserved some happiness after everything she'd gone through. I just wish their happiness could have lasted...
