I was watching documentaries on youtube and I came across one about Anne Boleyn. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzgJbzxxLfM.
I didn't realize that Cromwell attained most of his information to pass the execution from Anne herself. It makes a lot of sense and I'm surprised I haven't come across it before. I've read a few books about her but none mentioned it. I'm currently reading The Life and Death of Anne Boleyn by Ives, which is very detailed, but I haven't gotten to part about her execution so I'm hoping he covers it in more detail... which I'm sure he will. Also, I've often tried to imagine what Anne would look like in person by looking at some of her portraits. The woman in the documentary comes quite close to what I've imagined.
