MY VITALS Occupation: Student Home town: Burnley Location: Manchester (at University) Astrological sign: Aquarius -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm a student at Manchester Metropolitan though i'm from Burnley. I prefer Manchester to Burnley though, its such an amazing city. I'm studying history which i absolutely love. I'm a big fan of the Tudors, Stuarts and the Hanovers in particular. I love reading and writing, and i'm also quite sporty. I play football and netball and take dance classes which are fun. Currently learning how to samba :-) The Tudors I love the Tudors even though i know the majority of its a load of bull. The characters are amazing but i like some more than others. Princess Mary is wonderful, probably the saddest story of the time and Sarah Bolger is an amazing actress. She has to be my favourite all time character. And through association i love Katherine of Aragon, a strong queen who had amazing courage and dignity. I love how she still managed to forgive Henry after all he did to her. I also love Jane Seymour, who was so sweet and kind, giving Mary the friend and mother figure she always needed. Out of the guys, i'm a Brandon fan though i think that's got something to do with the lovely Henry Cavill! I just wouldn't want to make an enemy out of him coz they all seem to ending up being executed or branded as traitors. I also have a soft spot for King Henry. He's just a big kid in a man's body and he does have a nice side, he just doesn't show it often. I love how he was with Jane Seymour, she brings out his nice side and i felt so sorry for him when she died. Then there's Thomas More who's a favourite character, i cried so hard when he was executed but the scene was very beautiful. Favourite books: Emma, Sense and Sensibility, North and South, Wuthering Heights, Vampire Chronicles, Phillipa Gregory novels, Twilight series, Dexter series, Different Seasons (particularly the Body), Harry Potter series Favourite programmes: Skins, Hollyoaks, The Tudors, True Blood, Robin Hood, Merlin, Rome, Eastenders, Emmerdale, South Park, Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, QI, Mock the Week, Hex, Strictly Come Dancing, old episodes of the Simpsons and history documentaries. Favourite Movies: Inglourious Basterds, Stand By Me, City of God, Goodfellas, Interview with the Vampire, The Crow, Monty Python's Life of Brian and Holy Grail, The Downfall, Young Victoria, A Knights Tale, Kingdom of Heaven, King Arthur, First Knight, Journey to the Centre of the Earth, Baz Luhrman's Romeo + Juliet, Moulin Rouge and Withnail and I. Lush Henry Cavill Jonathan Rhys Meyers Max Brown Hans Matheson Emmanuel Leconte Jeremy Northam Favourite Girls Mary Tudor - a bright girl who suffered cruelly yet still suprisingly had a lot of love in her. Her incredible gift of love was her weakness and everyone she loved either died or betrayed her. One of the most tragic fairytales in history. Katherine of Aragon - a strong woman who still found it in her heart to forgive after all the wrongs done against her. She never gave up in what she believed in. Jane Seymour - sweetness personified, kind and caring really loves Henry and his daughters. Tried to make the world a better place. Couples- Tudors and non-Tudors! Mary and Philip of Bavaria (Tudors) Jane Seymour and Henry VIII (Tudors) - prefer Anita Briem in season 2, there weren't that many romantic scenes in third season! Evelyn and Rick O'Connell (The Mummy and The Mummy Returns) - only like Rachel Weisz as Evie, less said bout the other, the better! Robin and Marian (BBC Robin Hood) Maniac and Annie (Desperate Romantics) Aragorn and Arwen (Lord of the Rings) --------- Groupie for Teams....---- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- STORY TIME Once upon a time there lived a beautiful princess who was her parent's pride and joy.
