MORE ABOUT ME...

My guilty pleasure(s): watching this series about the Tudors which is more like a soap opera than history, and I really don't care for soap operas.

The best word to describe me is:

My hero(es)
: My father

Words or phrases I overuse: "I read somewhere..."

My superpower is: my memory

What else you should know about me:

I have been interested in the Tudor period since I saw the movies "A Man for All Seasons" and "Anne of the Thousand Days" years ago and began reading voraciously about the era. I am a fierce partisan of Katherine of Aragon.

IN MY DREAMS...
In the movie version of my life, I would be played by: Irene Pappas

My childhood ambition/career goal: Archaeologist

If I were a breakfast cereal, I would be:

If I could tame and ride any animal, it would be a:

If I could live anywhere, it would be: Italy

My dream job(s): Getting paid to do historical research

My dream vacation(s): Italy, Italy, Italy

TO-THE-MOMENT ME

Last movie I saw: ""Vanity Fair" (JRM has a role in this one, as a spoiled cad. He seems to be typecast.)

Last book I read: "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch

Current book (s) I am reading: "Anna Kerenina" by Leo Tolstoy, (I'm a bit burned out on non-fictions just now, and I've never read "Anna Kerenina" because the several names each character has in Russian novels intimidated me in college literature courses; now that I understand the naming traditions, I am no longer intimidated). I am enjoying it so far. "Thomas Mroe" by Richard Marius; it's taking awhile as I'm tired of non-fiction just now.

Last album I listened to: The Soundtrack to "Becoming Jane" by Adrian Johnson

Last big splurge: Books

Last vacation: 1987: six weeks in Europe
