Hello, my name is Rachel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Location: Whitby, England Favorite movies: Byron, Cassanova (with David Tennant), Dracula (with Gary Oldman), Interview with the Vampire, Young Victoria, Marie Antoinette (coz its a feast for the eyes), Plunkett and Maclean, Brat and Brat 2 (or Brother and Brother 2 in Russian!) Favorite TV shows: The Tudors, Robin Hood, Rome, Eastenders, Blackadder and Hex My hero(es): Lord Byron because he didn't care what people thought about him and endulged in the pleasures of life whilst writing beautiful and humorous poems. My superpower is: seeing the best of a bad situation If I could live anywhere, it would be: I like where i am at the moment thank you very much, can't beat an English seaside town haunted by vampires :P BYRONMANIA!   Jonny Lee Miller is my favourite portrayal of Byron. I got to watch this for A-Level English Lit to my delight I love Lord Byron, the first real celebrity England ever had. He was 'mad, bad and dangerous to know' according to one of his many lovers, Lady Caroline Lamb, who was almost driven insane when Byron dumped her. The very definition of hedonistic he lived life to the fullest, ignoring all social rules and indulging in life's pleasures. As well as writing some beautiful poetry, he was also quite political. He idealised revolution and joined the fight for Greek independence against the Turks, making him a national hero. Unfortanetely, his death wasn't as befitting as his life but he is remembered today as an eccentric, a poet and a lover. I was so upset when they cancelled it after two seasons coz they couldn't afford to keep on doing it (like so many other shows i love). My favourite characters were Azazeal and Cassie. I also think that the two actors, Michael Fassbender and Christina Cole, would have made the perfect Henry VIII and Jane Seymour. What think you of that? Don't forget that Micahel's hair is a lot lighter in real life   I also have a teeny little crush on Michael Fassbender ;D Lets Tudorise... My favourite Tudors are:          Anna Buckingham, Henry VIII, Jane Seymour, Katherine of Aragon, Thomas More, Thomas Wyatt, Princess Mary, King Francis, Madge Sheldon and Bessie Blount My Tudors Dream Cast The present cast are alright i suppose, but seem to be based on all looks, little talent. And i do include Henry and all the wives bar Maria Doyle Kennedy in that. Here's my dream cast:  Henry VIII and his Six Wives...
