My care is like my shadow in the sun, Follows me flying, flies when I pursue it, Stands and lies by me, doth what I have done.

What else you should know about me:
I'm a 21-year-old English introvert with a passion for art, photography, and history. As well as the Tudor/Elizabethan era, I am also fascinated by Ancient Rome, especially the Julio-Claudian dynasty.
I don't get why a lot of Tudor fans love England so much. Seriously, it's horrible now. The golden age has long gone!
I guess I should write a bit here about how I got into my obsession with the Tudor dynasty. When I was a little girl, my mum used to sit down with me and watchVHS copies of the 70's BBC productions, 'The Six Wives of Henry VIII' (with Keith Michell) and 'Elizabeth R' (with Glenda Jackson). I remember being utterly captivated and longed to know more about this intriguing period in history. I lose count of the amount of library books I got out. I've probably still got them somewhere. As I got older, I chose to study history at school but unfortunately the syllabus did not touch on the Tudors - however that did not stop me from enjoying it. I did not go to university (not everyone can afford it). I continue to learn more and more about 16th century England each day, out of pure interest and passion. I have a tattoo of the Tudor Rose on my stomach - the design I drew myself, as I am an avid artist as well as aspiring historian.
I may be young, but my few years have been filled with the pursuit of knowledge and the acquisition of intellect. Don't judge me on my generation.

Their place knows them no more and is ours today...The poetry of history lies in the quasi-miraculous fact that once on this earth, once on this familiar spot of ground, walked other men and women, as actual as we are today, thinking their own thoughts, swayed by their own passions, but now all gone, one generation vanishing into another, gone as utterly as we ourselves shall shortly be gone, like ghosts at cockcrow".
