| My Favorite Characters!
First and foremost, i absolutely adore Jamie Thomas King's portrayal of the poet, Thomas Wyatt, the innocence and vulnerablity of his character strike an unbelievable chord with me. Especially when i think of all the friends he lost during Henry's reign. He is probably one of the very few people at court that wasn't driven by a desire for power, and wasn't corrupted by the intrigue of the English court. His poetry is absolutely amazing, it charts his desire for love, his grief for the loss of his friends, and his own perspective of Henry's court.
Wow, where do i begin where this woman is concerned, well let me start by saying that Natalie Dormer was absolutely superb for the role of this amazing woman, and captured her spirit so well. Anne Boleyn was the second wife of Henry VIII and probably the most interesting of all six, she was the woman which 'Set the country in a roar', Henry changed the face of England forever so he could possess her, but Anne failed to provide Henry with a son and heir and eventually lost his favor, as well as her life.
Someone else who changed the face of England forever was Thomas Cromwell, the man who instigated the reformation of the Catholic Church, and started as nothing to become second in power only to the King of England himself. James Frain has portrayed this man as the human being he was before being completely villified throughout history. He was certainly ambitious to a fatal extent, but above everything else, he was loyal to those he trusted and whom trusted him in return.
I absolutely love this picture, is Kate Duggan not the cutest thing? I admire Elizabeth I for the woman she became, although damaged emotionally by her father, and many of the decisions he made, she rose above him, and became a more successful ruler than the son he had always longed for.
Mary I is one of the few characters from the Tudors, as well as history itself, i can relate to. Emotionally damaged beyond repair due to the seperation of her parents, Mary is probably one of the most tragic victims of Henry's reign, if not the most tragic. Sarah Bolger plays her with such elegance and grace that one can't help but wonder, what if things had gone differently in her life? | Hello, my name is Regina!

I joined this wiki because: I love the Tudor Dynasty and love to express my opinions, a little too much sometimes so don't be afraid to call me on it.
The best word to describe me is: I am very opinionated, stubbourn and always speak my mind also, I tend to be sarcastic aswell when I get very defensive, but don't be worried, I'm also open-minded and not so proud that I wont admit when I'm wrong!
Interests: I love Art, and have missed it since i left secondary school as i'm now doing Social Science in College. I also like History, used to love Egyptian history, and now love English history, ironic as i'm Irish. I like reading and writing also.
Favorite movies: Lord of the Rings (all three), X-Men (the first two), Pirates of the Carribbean (all three), Sweeney Todd and the Dark Knight.
Favorite actors: Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Aaron Stanford, Heath Ledger and Natalie Portman (but not in TOBG!).

What else you should know about me: I love Anne Boleyn (which means if i ever met Phillipa Gregory i'd probably tackle her to the floor), Sir Thomas Wyatt ( love the way his poetry is woven throughout the series), Thomas Cromwell (his character is so complex that i have trouble discerning between my hatred and love of him), Mary Tudor (a tragic heroine in my opinion) and Elizabeth Tudor (she finally proved that women were more than sex objects). I love reading and writing and do both in my spare time, my favorite book would have to be Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman, and the sequels to it. I used to love manga and anime when i was little, especially Dragonball Z, and still watch a few of them when i have the time, i also used to love comic books, especially X-Men, as a child. I absolutely adore Final Fantasy also, despite how time consuming it is, my favorites being Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X2. I also absolutely love WICKED, both the book and the musical, although never liked musicals before (Sweeney Todd finally won me over). I like debates, and like getting to know new people through them as i like discussing various opinions.
