My Babies
Toby-Hannah (Toby) is a Black Male Labrador Retriever, age 4. His birthday is Nov. 20th and I had got him when he was 5 weeks old from my aunt. He had eye-surgery when he was 2 years old, and although it was a lot of money, it was definitely worth it, especially since I don't want him going blind when he's older... -_- Ok, Tobias is HUGE! He ain't fat, he is just super muscular and tall... Gah, I love him! He is one of the best dogs that I've had, or know. He has a very gentle, and kind heart and he loves to meet new people and dogs, although he is pretty intimidating at first; he likes to bark (he has a MANLY WOOF) when you come down our driveway but he loves ya, really! Toby really is one of the best dogs in the world. He always has his happy-go-lucky look on when I see him, and it makes me happy even when I've had a HORRIBLE day...
Ruby Mae Begonia (Ruby) is a what I like to call, GIANT Maltese, age 1. Her birthday is Aug. 4 and I had got her Thanksgiving weekend when she was a little more than 3 mon. old. She had been to 3 homes before she came to mine, and when I first saw her, I knew she was there to stay FORVER! That little one is, I guess, my BFF. The reason why I call her a GIANT Maltese is because of all the Maltese's I've seen, Rubes is GIGANTIC compared to them. Her own sister, Harley, is half the size of my girl. My baby is a giant. Yeah! Now Ruby has the typical Napoleon Complex; she thinks she's bigger than she actually is, she has MAJOR ATTITUDE, and she's a meanie to Toby. Poor Toby when they get in fights. =( But Ruby does have a very sweet side to her. She LOVES people, so much so, she pees with happiness... >_< She loves to take naps with me and she has a very passionate Love/Hate relationship with clothes. Aw, she is so adorable in her dresses!

Love Me Some Tom Cromwell!
Edward VI as a Baby. I went to the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC a couple of weeks ago. (It was on the day of 2-13-09) I had fun at the Gallery, so many wonderful paintings. Also there, and I wish I took a picture of it, the Earl of Essex, Elizabeth's lova. But alas I didn't.

I got to flex my Tudor Mind Powers in English! I love it. We're learning about Shakespeare and so of course Elizabeth was talked about and so was Henry! I answered all the Questions.... I was just Epic Tudor Queen! How everything in England was effected by the War of Roses and Henry breaking away from the Church and thus establishing the Church of England... I was totally jumping off the walls answering all the Questions. My friend John said I spend way too much time reading.... I laughed, Muahahaha!

The play was put on by the Port Tobacco Players in another town, other than my own. The acting was pretty good, Pretty Amazing by Southern Maryland standards. The Story is about Sir Thomas More from about 1529 to 1535 when he was beheaded. More, as you know, refuses to agree to the divorce of Henry VIII to KOA, and the Act of Supremacy. Drama ensues. What I was most excited to see was Thomas Cromwell. Now this Cromwell did a LOT of yelling, and he (the actor) favored the actor in Anne of a Thousand Days. Cromwell was a ass, but I know the true story, so I just sat there and laughed. I did wonder if anyone had caught at all, when Cromwell said, "The Kind said this, the King said that, Oh the King sent me, The King wants this/that" Cromwell, I must emphasis, did everything for the King, and many times on the King's Orders! But Cromwell was a jerk in the play, which I LOVED! Alice More, Thomas More's saucy wifey, was annoying. And was she MEAN! I don't think, in the play, she liked Margaret More (Thomas's daughter) very much. How mean! The play was good though, everyone played their part well, except for the actor who play the Duke of Norfolk, he could have been better. Paused at better places, did something more with his hands when he was standing. But he did have nice, pure white hair! He looked like Santa Clause! So to anyone who has this play being performed in their town, I recommend going. It's well written and it's not spoken in Ol' English. So go and have fun! And I met someone cuteeeee! If you cared to know...

Yeah, Cromwell yelling, I wasn't expecting it AT ALL! He was actually kinda scary. ='( Oh yes, I prefer Jame's Cromwell... oh yes, I prefer That Cromwell. Yeah, they go into More and Margaret's relationship, although the actors weren't the real More and Margaret, you could just imagine though that More really did love his daughter, so sweet! Also, they had William Roeper in too, and his and More's relationship was comic relief. Just about every scene with More and Roeper was funny!
Yeah someone cute... gah! Hopefully I can see him again, soon. He's friends with my best friend's boyfriend. He looks good in newsboy hats! haha!

I'll be seeing a play called, "Man of All Seasons" and it's about Henry VIII. So that is most definitely right up my alley! Does anyone know anything about this play? Is it any good? All I know is that I'm seeing the play with my best friend and two other guys (ooo!) so that alone I will enjoy! Well either later tonight or tomorrow I'll let anyone who is interested, know about the play.

Does anyone know weither or not Cromwell will be beheaded in Season 3 or what? Because I don't know weither or not they got a Kathryn Howard for Season 3 and Cromwell (in history) died on Henry's and Kathryn's wedding day. I just want to know Cromwell's fate for season 3 as I have to wait for the Season to come out on DVD. No showtime for me... =(

"Well, I don't want you to think he was totally blameless. He certainly wasn't. But, what irritates me is when a lot of people paint Cromwell as the ultimate villain yet rarely saddle much blame on Henry. Some people like to think Cromwell manipulated or lorded over Henry and influenced the king to do bad things. That's just not true. Henry was always the boss...always in control. Anything Cromwell did he did in service to his king. And, what a lot of folks seem to not realize, is to go against Henry would have been suicide.
Cromwell had his agenda, and undoubtedly influenced the king in some ways to further those agendas. But, when it came right down to it, Herny was the one who called the shots. And, he is the one responsible for every evil thing that happened in his Kingdom."
