I joined this wiki because I have loved the Tudors since I was twelve. My favourites are Queen Elizabeth (hence my username), her sister Queen Mary and their cousin Lady Jane Grey. As a teenager I read everything I could get about Queen Elizabeth and Henry VIII. They are such fascinating people living in such turbulent times! Now that I know the series "The Tudors", I love to share this interest with as many people as possible. The best word to describe me is, to quote Meredith Brooks, "a little bit of everything, all rolled into one. " I'm a passionate author and reader, I'm a loving wife and a teasing changeling, I'm as lazy as a dog and yet a hard worker. I'm a dreamer and a realist. I have everlasting patience and a quick temper. I am - in short - a Libra, always struggling for balance between the extremes.  Interests: role-playing games, reading, writing, translating, the Tudors, the English language, English history, mythology Favorite movies: The Lord of the Rings, The Neverending Story, Pirates of the Carribbean, historic movies... anything that has to do with adventure, history or fantasy. Favorite TV shows: The Tudors, Supernatural My hero(es): my husband - don't laugh! ;) - Elizabeth I, Katherine Parr   My superpower is: my ability to quickly adept to the respective circumstances. I might not like them, but I'm capable of surviving them and making the best out of them. This talent has come in handy in several difficult situations: getting lost in the mountains of Sequioa National Park at night, getting along with a good friend's horrible step-mother (Cruella de Vil's lost twin, I suppose), living with a manic-depressive for about two years, surviving long-term unemployment and staying with my beloved grand-aunt until she died of cancer. If I could live anywhere, it would be: Ireland or Scotland. I love these two countries, they are so beautiful! My dream job(s): I would love to be an acknowledged author. The first steps are taken, now it's the editors' turn. :) Also I'd love to do more translating. But I'd also enjoy working als flight attendent. What else you should know about me: I have a degree in English and German and come from a patch-work family. I'm the only daughter of my parents. They got divorced and both respectively remarried. My stepfather already had three kids by his first wife and now has another little trinity with my mother. My father has two sons by his second wife. That causes the strange situation that I'm my mother's eldest child and yet the youngest of three sisters. Did I confuse you now?
