BoleynGirl13 Henry VIII's warped view of women 2 Jan 6 2009, 10:59 PM EST by BoleynGirl13

Ok is it just me or did Henry have a severly warped view of women?? I mean yes, all men of that time saw women as breeding tools but Henry seemed to have no idea that women were people with feelings just like him. I mean look how he treated Katherine...... He did not care that she loved with all of her heart or that by asking for a divorce he was cutting her heart out. Or with Anne he did not care that he was flaunting his new relationship with Jane Seymour in Anne's face. I think that Henry believed women to be inanimate objects with no feelings or desires or needs.
